My Time Out West

This summer was my first real season of guiding.  I've guided for several years now but only a few times each year.  I was lucky enough to get a position at Paws Up Outfitters.  The outfitter Jeremy Kehrein was actually a friend of a friend as he is from Wisconsin.  My experience out there was fantastic.  I got to spend nearly every day of my summer on the water.  I mainly guided the Blackfoot river but also guided the Missouri River and spent some time on the Clark fork and Bitterroot rivers.  I don't really have too much more to say about my experience out there and not too many stories to share.  I had a lot of great clients this summer and I am happy for that.  I love being a guide and teaching people to fish.  Knowing that I have changed those peoples lives in some small way by sharing my knowledge and passion for fly fishing is the reason I do it and will continue to.

I'll let some of my pictures do the rest of my talking.
